Please book your travel and submit your completed Registration Form by July 7. Late registrations will not be accepted without manager approval.

If you reside in Milwaukee, Racine, Waukesha, Washington, or Ozaukee county you are considered “local” and will not receive hotel accommodations. If you’d like to book accommodations at your own expense, please make note of the dates in the additional comments box on the registration page.

Out of town guests should utilize ride share programs (Uber, Lyft) for transportation from the airport to the hotel. The cost can be expensed and reimbursed to you. Zywave will provide shuttles to ZyFest (from your hotel) eliminating the need for car rentals.

There should be no need to rent a car. Most transportation will be arranged for you.

Employees not local to Zywave may expense their travel to Milwaukee, roundtrip transportation to the airport, airport parking (discount lots preferred), checked baggage fees, and one meal per day of travel limited at $30.

Expenses that will not be reimbursed include upgraded seat fees, as well as food and beverage costs incurred in lieu of attending Zywave hosted events.

Be sure to keep a receipt for all expenses that you wish to be reimbursed. They will be required as part of the expense report submittal. Expenses must be submitted in Concur for reimbursement within 30 days of incurring the charge.

Anything is possible! Temperatures in Milwaukee during August could range from 60-90 degrees, being cooler at night and cooler along the lakeshore which is where ZyFest will be hosted. Bring layers and be prepared for all scenarios.

All time spent traveling during your normal work hours can be recorded as work time. All time spent attending ZyFest learning sessions can be recorded as work time. Evening entertainment is not considered paid work time. We do not anticipate that ZyFest attendance will result in significant overtime for the week of August 1st as attendance will align with typical business hours.

Please bring your luggage with you on the bus when you leave the hotel on Wednesday morning. We will safely store it for you until the of the end of the day. At the conclusion of ZyFest on August 3rd, we will transport you (and luggage) and to Milwaukee’s General Mitchell Airport. Luggage cannot be stored on Summerfest grounds.

Yes, a dedicated parking lot will be available to those driving to ZyFest. Free parking will be available in Parking Lot A which is accessible from Lincoln Memorial Drive. You will enter ZyFest through the Mid Gate. Vehicles will not be allowed to remain in the parking lot overnight. Please plan accordingly.

As you can see from the Agenda, there are a number of breakout sessions scheduled. The only one you need to pre-register for is the activity breakout on August 2 from 5:10-6:30 pm.
